Indiana Fever Defeat Atlanta Dream 84-79 in Road Win

Fever improve to 7-10 on the season
The Indiana Fever defeated the Atlanta Dream 84-79 on Tuesday night at the Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia. The Fever have now won four straight games to improve to 7-10 on the season, while the Dream fall to 6-8.
The Fever were led by Victoria Vivians, who scored 22 points on 8-of-15 shooting. Kelsey Mitchell added 18 points and 7 assists, while Jantel Lavender had 16 points and 8 rebounds. Erica Wheeler also contributed 14 points and 5 assists for the Fever.
The Dream were led by Rhyne Howard, who scored 25 points on 9-of-19 shooting. Tiffany Hayes added 18 points and 6 rebounds, while Aari McDonald had 14 points. Elizabeth Williams also had 10 points and 7 rebounds for the Dream.
In the first half, the Fever jumped out to an early lead and led by as many as 10 points in the second quarter. However, the Dream rallied back to cut the Fever's lead to just three points at the half. In the second half, the Fever maintained their lead throughout the third quarter and led by as many as 12 points in the fourth quarter. The Dream made a late run to cut the Fever's lead to just two points with under a minute remaining, but the Fever held on for the win.
With the win, the Fever move to 7-10 on the season and have won four straight games. The Dream fall to 6-8 on the season. The Fever will return to action on Thursday night when they travel to face the Chicago Sky. The Dream will return to action on Friday night when they host the Minnesota Lynx.
