Eight Sluggers Set to Square Off for Title
The field is set for the 2024 T-Mobile Home Run Derby, which will take place on Monday night at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The event will be televised live on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET.
The eight sluggers set to participate in the derby are:
- Pete Alonso, New York Mets
- Ronald Acuña Jr., Atlanta Braves
- Julio Rodriguez, Seattle Mariners
- Kyle Schwarber, Philadelphia Phillies
- Juan Soto, San Diego Padres
- Bo Bichette, Toronto Blue Jays
- Corey Seager, Texas Rangers
- Mookie Betts, Los Angeles Dodgers
Several notable stars will not be participating in the derby this year, including Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels and Bryce Harper of the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Home Run Derby is always one of the most exciting events of the All-Star break, and this year's field is sure to put on a show for the fans.
